Die Gemeinde Senden beabsichtigt den Neubau einer Mensa auf dem Schulcampus Senden. Insgesamt werden drei Schulen unterschiedlicher Typen von der geplanten Mensa versorgt. Das Architekturbüro Herrmann & Bosch aus Stuttgart hat sich in einem hochbaulichen Realisierungswettbewerb mit seinem Entwurf, der von einer durchgängigen Holzbauweise gekennzeichnet ist, durchgesetzt. Der klare, gut ablesebare Entwurf mit seinen längs gerichteten Raumproportionen auf einem durchgängigen Gebäuderaster, bettet sich eingeschossig mit einem zurückversetztem Technikgeschoss auf dem Flachdach, in die Parklandschaft des Schulcampus Senden ein. Im Inneren wird der Besucher in einem Foyer empfangen und von hieraus öffnet sich nach Süden der längs gerichtete Speiseraum hinter einer Glasfassade mit vorgelagertem Dachüberstand. Nördlich erstreckt sich die Großküche und weitere Nutzflächen über eine gesamte Länge von ca. 56 m. Es sollen nun die Fachplanungsleistungen Tragwerk und Bauphysik (Wärmeschutz und Energiebilanzierung, Raumakustik) in einem Verhandlungsverfahren mit Teilnahmewettbewerb vergeben werden. Die Vergabe erfolgt in folgenden Stufen: Tragwerksplanung: Stufe 1: Leistungsphasen 1 bis 3 Stufe 2: Leistungsphase 4 Stufe 3: Leistungsphasen 5 bis 6 Bauphysik: Stufe 1: Leistungsphasen 1 bis 3 Stufe 2: Leistungsphase 4 Stufe 3: Leistungsphasen 5 bis 7 Planungsleistungen Tragwerk und Bauphysik (Wärmeschutz und Energiebilanzierung; Raumakustik)
