Auch für 2026 plant die WTD 71 Unterwassersprengungen in der Ostsee. Voraussetzungen für diese Sprengungen ist eine Ausnahmegenehmigung der zuständigen Umweltbehörden. Zur Erlangung der Genehmigung sind die Auswirkungen von UW-Sprengungen auf die Meeresumwelt, sowie Schutz- und Minderungsmaßnahmen darzulegen. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass die Datenlage zu diesen speziellen Fragestellungen nicht ausreichend ist. Nach ausführlichen Diskussionen mit den zuständigen Umweltschutzbehörden hat man sich geeinigt, die für die WTD 71 dringend erforderlichen UW-Sprengungen mit großen Ladungsmassen weiterzuführen und diese Sprengungen umfangreich messtechnisch zu begleiten, um so die Auswirkungen der Sprengungen auf die Meeresumwelt bzw. die Wirksamkeit der Minderungsmaßnahmen (Blasenschleier) besser beurteilen zu können. In 2026 ist die vierte Ansprengung einer Ansprengserie von max. 6 Sprengungen der ExKarlsruhe durchzuführen, die zur Gewinnung dieser Daten genutzt wird. 1 LE Blasenschleier für die Ansprengungen der ExKarlsruhe in 2026
