Description

Mit dieser Beschaffungsmaßnahme für Cloud-Ressourcen und Dienstleistungen hat die Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe (TH-OWL) in Konsortialführerschaft für die Hochschulen für Angewandte Wissenschaft (HAW) und die Kunst- und Musikhochschulen (KuMu) in NRW einen Rahmenvertrag für Infrastruktur as a Service (IaaS) Dienste vergeben. Es sollen nach aktuellem Stand der Technik, Infrastrukturressourcen wie Speicher, virtuelle Server, Desktops, Software etc. für die öffentlichen Hochschulen in Nordrhein-Westfalen flexibel und bedarfsgerecht folgende Dienste beschafft und etabliert werden: -Eine Private Cloud im Sinne eines virtuellen Verbundrechenzentrums -Ein MultiCloud-Portal als Single Point of Administration & Accounting zur Verwaltung der Ressourcen, in das die Private Cloud und Public Cloud Anbieter integriert werden. -Durchführungsunterstützung in den Bereichen Automatisierung, Integration, Transformation und Migration in die neue Infrastruktur. Ein potenzieller Bedarf liegt bei ca. 10.000 virtuellen Servern und 1.000 virtuellen Desktops.
