Hessen Mobil's road maintenance service is to be optimised for the 8 road maintenance depots of the East Hesse and the 8 depots of the West Hesse operations and traffic departments through a mobile deployment management system (EMS). Winter service objectives include legally admissible proof of completed operations under the duty to maintain road safety, deployment evaluations, billing of services with contractors and other road maintenance authorities, and efficient deployment control using real-time monitoring. Drivers are to be relieved through route guidance functions. The basis is automated deployment data capture in around 140 winter service vehicles operated by Hessen Mobil and contractors. An EVB-IT service contract with a system supply contract is intended, with up to 3 extension options of 12 months each.
