Die Gemeinde Weeze beabsichtigt den Neubau einer Feuerwache für die Freiwillige Feuerwehr Weeze am Standort Straße Fährsteg in Weeze. Das Bauvorhaben dient der Sicherstellung einer zeitgemäßen, leistungsfähigen und arbeitsschutzkonformen Feuerwehrinfrastruktur und ersetzt den bisherigen Standort in unmittelbarer Nähe. Grundlage des Vorhabens sind die genehmigungsreifen Planungen zur Errichtung eines Feuerwehrgebäudes mit Fahrzeughalle, Funktions- und Sozialräumen sowie einem integrierten Übungsturm. Ergänzend werden die erforderlichen Erschließungsflächen, Stellplätze für Einsatzkräfte und Besucher sowie die zugehörigen Nebenanlagen hergestellt. Der Neubau wird mit einem überwiegend extensiv begrünten Flachdach ausgeführt; im Bereich der Fahrzeughalle ist eine Kombination aus Dachbegrünung und Photovoltaikanlage vorgesehen. Die Höhenentwicklung des Gebäudes beträgt ca. 11,45 m, der Übungsturm ca. 19,60 m über Geländeoberkante.
