Germany - Chemical products - Dynamic purchasing system for the procurement of water treatment chemicals

The Wahnbachtalsperrenverband, a public-law entity supplying drinking water to around 800,000 people in the Bonn region, Rhein-Sieg-Kreis, Siegburg and parts of the Ahrweiler district, is setting up a dynamic purchasing system for water treatment chemicals. As a sector contracting authority under Section 100 GWB, it awards contracts above EU thresholds according to the Sector Regulation. The system comprises 15 lots, one per treatment chemical. Orders are placed through mini-competitions among the supplier pool established for each lot. The system starts on 1 October 2026 and runs until 30 September 2034.
