Germany - Fuel cells - Supply of a maritime fuel cell system

The contracting authority is procuring the design, manufacture and delivery of a low-temperature polymer electrolyte fuel cell together with its related subsystems, supplied as a complete fuel cell system. The fuel cell is the main component of the project 'EENOK-Systementwurf'. The underlying idea is to develop an emission-free energy container based on hydrogen and fuel cell technology, which, together with a battery and power converters, provides the energy needed to reduce emissions from ships travelling through the Kiel Canal.
