Fraport AG is procuring the supply, installation-ready assembly and commissioning of two additional systems for transporting and issuing arrival baggage for the baggage handling system of Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport, including integration into existing emergency-stop and power distribution systems and into the existing control system. Scope includes around 240 m of belt conveyors, 35 frequency-controlled drives, 2 sloped baggage claim carousels, fire and safety doors, 2 new PLC controls, extensions of 2 low-voltage switchboards and 2 emergency-stop controls, plus SCADA integration. Works start in Q1 2027, assembly from Q3 2027, commissioning from Q2 2028.
