The contract covers part of the general renovation of the Nicolaus-Cusanus-Gymnasium in Germany, specifically the central wing. Works include making the area building-free before subsequent fit-out trades. Scope: protective measures for adjacent building parts still used by the school during ongoing operations and within the demolition area; removal of about 1650 m2 of hazardous suspended ceilings and about 120 m2 of wall panelling containing artificial mineral fibres; about 150 m2 of PAH-contaminated floor covering in basement level 2 with fibre-containing edge strips; about 250 m of insulated pipes and about 500 m of PAH-contaminated waste and rainwater pipes; dismantling of about 50 fin radiators with asbestos-containing seals; black and white areas, airlocks, sealing, negative pressure, fine cleaning and disposal of contaminated waste; stripping out and demolition of interior fittings, floor structures, windows, balustrades and building services.
