Description

Im Zuge der Neuausrichtung der Wärmeerzeugungs- und Wärmeversorgungsstruktur planen die Stadtwerke Tübingen GmbH den Neubau einer Spitzenlast-Heizzentrale zur ergänzenden Versorgung des Fernwärmegebiets Südstadt - Uhlandschiene im zukünftigen Endausbau. Die Stadtwerke Tübingen (swt) betreiben in Tübingen acht Fernwärmenetze mit einer Gesamtlänge von rund 59 km. Insgesamt werden rund 1.400 Anschlüsse versorgt und der jährliche Wärmeabsatz beträgt rund 170.000 MWh/a. Geplant ist eine Gesamtfeuerungswärmeleistung bis 20 MW. Als Brennstoff sollen mittelfristig Erdgas und Heizöl zum Einsatz kommen. Die vorgesehene Heizölbevorratung soll mindestens für 100000 Liter ausgelegt werden.
