Das Hauptgebäude aus dem Jahr 1952 steht unter Denkmalschutz und umfasst einschließlich des Kellergeschosses vier Geschosse. Durch die gewählte Holzbauweise kann die Bauzeit reduziert und der laufende Schulbetrieb weitgehend aufrechterhalten werden. Mit der Ausführung der Arbeiten ist 10 Werktage nach Auftragserteilung zu beginnen. Die Konstruktion muss spätestens zum 28.02.2027 aufgestellt sein.
