Lieferung, Montage, Inbetriebnahme sowie Wartung und Betrieb eines Großbatteriespeichers (BESS) am Standort der Fieseler Stiftung im Gewerbegebiet der Stadt Kassel Die STW beabsichtigt den Bau eines BESS an einem geeigneten Standort im Gewerbegebiet in der Stadt Kassel. Die Fertigstellung des BESS ist Anfang 2027 geplant. Das Projekt umfasst eine Stand-Alone BESS, die über die erforderlichen Funktionen verfügen soll, um eine flexible Vermarktung auf verschiedenen Energiemärkten zu ermöglichen. Dazu zählen Systemdienstleistungen (FCR, aFRR etc.), den Markt für Momentanreserve sowie die Erlösoptimierung am Spotmarkt. Das BESS wird über eine 10-kV-Schaltanlage des lokalen Verteilnetzbetreibers ans Verteilnetz angeschlossen. Die geplante Netzanschlussleistung soll ca. 9 MW betragen. Eine Netzanschlusszusage liegt vor. Die geplante Kapazität des BESS soll mind. 18 MWh (c-Rate = 0,5) bieten. Das BESS soll im Rahmen eines EPC-light-Ansatzes geplant, beschafft und installiert werden. Der EPC-Auftrag umfasst folgende Aspekte: Systemdesign, Lieferung aller wichtigen Ausrüstungen für die BESS-Einheiten, z. B. Batterien einschließlich Gehäuse und Wechselrichter, relevante SCADA-Systeme, Verkabelung und Verdrahtung der BESS-Einheiten vor Ort, MV-Transformator, RMUs, Kabel von RMU zur Mittelspannungs-Schaltanlage und die Mittelspannungsschaltanlage. Des Weiteren umfasst der Auftrag die Inbetriebnahme und Prüfung der BESS-Einheiten sowie Betriebs- und Wartungsdienste (O&M). Aufgaben wie Fundamente sind vom Lieferumfang ausgeschlossen.
