Design, supply and install bus shelters & digital infrastructure across the Cumberland area

Cumberland Council in England is seeking a contractor to design, supply and install bus shelters and digital infrastructure across the Cumberland area. Works include removing old shelters, site design, supply and installation, utility connections, securing consents and permissions, and commissioning. The aim is to develop the new 'Cumberland Go' service, create a sense of place and improve passenger information to encourage bus usage. The contract is expected to be worth up to £4,500,000, structured on a drawdown basis according to available funding. The project runs from October 2026 to April 2028, with delivery phases in April 2027, July 2027 (indicative) and April 2028.
