Forestry England will be awarding a contract for the Design, Supply and Installation of an inclusive, bespoke, timber shelter at Hicks Lodge, Leicestershire (LE65 2UP). Hicks Lodge is in the heart of the National Forest. It’s a former coal mining site that has been totally transformed by new plantings, trails, and visitor facilities creating an enjoyable day out for a wide range of audiences. Hicks Lodge is a great spot for budding cyclists with a range of trails for beginner and intermediate appetites. Walking and horse-riding paths encourage visitors to venture around the forest, and the lakeside bird hide is popular location for visitors who want to soak in the scenery and spot unique wildlife.
