Udbuddet vedrører indkøb af vandløbsvedligeholdelse i Odense Kommune. Undtaget fra udbuddet er vedligehold af rørlagte vandløb, røroverkørsler, broer, bygværker mv. Odense Kommune ønsker at indgå kontrakter på 4 delaftaler om vedligehold af vandløbsstrækninger i kommunen. Der kan afgives tilbud på én, flere eller alle delaftaler, og tilbudsgiver kan tildeles op til 3 delaftaler. Dette valg er taget af hensyn til små og mellemstore virksomheders mulighed for at blive en del af udbuddet. Vandløbsstrækningerne forløber sig til i alt 140 km strækning, hvor der skal udføres vedligeholdelse 2 gange i sæsonen.
