The buyer AFLD I/S awarded a contract for the collection and disposal of hazardous waste in five of its six member municipalities: Billund, Herning, Ikast-Brande, Ringkøbing-Skjern and Varde, as well as at AFLD Tarm. In all municipalities the hazardous waste is collected at recycling centres and at pharmacies. In Ikast-Brande municipality it is also collected at AFLD Fasterholt, where household-collected environmental boxes are among other things sorted and packed by AFLD. The contract was won by Marius Pedersen A/S. The awarded value was about EUR 3,912,233.73, converted from DKK at the ECB reference rate, with the official notice stating the amount in DKK. The contract was awarded on 2026-04-22.
