National Enhed om Særlig Kriminalitet agter at indgå aftale med NORAD A/S vedrørende DCS®6 kamerasystem. Indkøbet består af software, hardware og dedikerede komponenter til opgradering af to eksisterende DCS®5 anlæg fra Foster+Freeman Ltd. til DCS®6 kamerasystem. National Enhed for Særlig Kriminalitet har siden 2013 anvendt DCS®-systemer fra leverandøren Foster+Freeman Ltd. til at dokumentere og efterbehandle fingeraftryksspor. DCS®-systemerne er specialiserede, dedikerede og lukkede systemer til netop dette formål. DCS®-systemerne består af specialmodificerede kameraer, computer med specialiseret software og specialudviklede lyskilder, som er håndbygget- eller ombygget specielt til DCS®-systemet. Der indkøbes software, hardware og dedikerede komponenter til opgradering af to eksisterende DCS®5 til DCS®6
