Dette projekt har til formål at gendanne mikrobielle genomer fra jordprøver. De long read sekventeringsdata, der anmodes om til dette projekt, er essentielle for gendannelsesprocessen sammen med de DNA modifikationer, der vil understøtte den avancerede metagenomiske binning proces. For at muliggøre sammenligninger med eksisterende data er det afgørende, at DNA’et ekstraheres med Qiagen Powersoil Pro kittet, derefter renses for korte fragmenter (<1000 bp) ved hjælp af SPRI baseret oprensning, og at sekventeringen udføres med den nyeste nanopore kemi og de nyeste flowceller.
