Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Danish Defence (FMI), as a government authority, self-insures under the circular on self-insurance in the state. The tender covers administration of the Defence's self-insurance scheme through two subcontracts. Subcontract 1 covers processing and payment of reimbursements for claims worldwide relating to illness and repatriation, collective 24-hour accident cover, and operation of a 24/7 alarm centre for acute injuries and illness. Subcontract 2 covers claims relating to transport damage to household goods during postings abroad, damage connected with storage of household goods, and disaster cover. The provider handles claims from insured persons and pays reimbursements on behalf of the Defence, following the conditions, sums and terms set by the Defence.

Expected award price

likely award for this notice, from its published estimate of €2,015,093
€1.7M to €2.3M

Comparable awards in this country and sector came in at a median of 100% of their published estimate, half of them between 86% and 113%, based on 109 awards of the last 3 years.

Each award is compared with the estimate of the same lots, framework agreements excluded. A published estimate may include options and renewals, so an award under it is not always a discount.
