Kontrakten omfatter afhentning og afsætning af husstandsindsamlet plast samt mad- og drikkekartoner i I/S REFA’s område i perioden fra 1. januar 2025 - 30. juni 2026 med en option på forlængelse til og med 31. december 2026. REFA’s indsamling vil finde sted hele året og indsamlingen vil også ske på helligdage, hvis disse falder på ugedagene mandag - fredag. Der indsamles dog ikke den 25. december og 1. januar uanset hvilke ugedage der er tale om. Udover husstandsindsamlingen kan borgerne også aflevere fraktionen på genbrugspladserne, hvis de har mere end der kan vente på næste indsamling. Denne fraktion på genbrugspladsen indsamler REFA selv og afleverer på miljøcentret i Gerringe eller Hasselø sammen med det husstandsindsamlede plast. Affaldet fra de to indsamlingsmetoder er derfor ikke adskilt. I forrige aftaleperiode 1/8-23 til 31/7-24, blev der indleveret lige omkring 918 ton på Hasselø, og 596 ton på Gerringe. Dette er ikke inkl. optionen. Det kan forventes, at tallet vil stige i kontraktperioden, baseret på den nye sortering.
