Bygningsstyrelsen udbyder en aftale om totalrådgivning vedrørende etablering af Virologisk Center i en eksisterende bygning til brug for Det Sundhedsvidenskabelige Fakultet (SUND) ved Københavns Universitet (KU). Virologisk Center skal etableres som en laboratoriefacilitet til forskning i virus tilhørende risikogruppe 2 og 3 (BSL2-3) samt arbejde med genetisk modificerede virus klassificeret som GMO klasse 2 (GMO2). Laboratoriefaciliteten skal udføres som en indeslutningsfacilitet, der kan godkendes og klassificeres til BSL3- og GMO2-niveau. Faciliteten skal overholde krav i danske regelsæt og herudover skal relevante internationale manualer, standarder, guidelines samt best practice på området inddrages og lægges til grund - såvel metodemæssigt i form analyser, risiko- og kvalitetsstyring som i form af løsningsvalg, udførelse og verifikation heraf. Projektets specialiserede karakter forudsætter derfor stærke rådgivningskompetencer generelt - og herunder specialistkompetencer inden for biocontainment - med indgående erfaring fra tilsvarende byggerier samt kendskab til gældende danske og internationale krav til BSL3-laboratorier. Projektet omfatter et bruttoareal på ca. 550 m². Projektet forventes gennemført med tidlig inddragelse af en leverandør af barrieresystem, mens øvrige arbejder forventes udbudt i hoved- eller storentrepriser med Bygningsstyrelsen som bygherre og Københavns Universitet som bruger. Totalrådgivningsopgaven forventes udbudt ultimo august / primo september 2026. Anslået værdi for kontrakt: 30 mio. kr. Der er tale om et ikke-bindende skøn baseret på Bygningsstyrelsens nuværende budgetforudsætninger.
