Czech Republic - Motorway construction - D3 0310/II Hodějovice - Třebonín

The Road and Motorway Directorate (Ředitelství silnic a dálnic s. p.) awarded a contract on 23 November 2018 for construction works. The project, section 0310/II between Hodějovice and Třebonín, together with section 0310/I between Úsilné and Hodějovice, will create the eastern motorway bypass of České Budějovice, diverting heavy transit traffic towards Austria. The works include a 12.536 km four-lane dual carriageway section of the D3 motorway, three grade-separated motorway junctions, 21 motorway and road bridges, several relocations of class I, II and III roads and a relocation of the railway line České Velenice - Plzeň with three railway bridges.
