Czech Republic - Road works for motorways - D2 Expansion of the Zeleňák rest area - construction

The Road and Motorway Directorate (Ředitelství silnic a dálnic s. p.) awarded a contract for the expansion of the existing Zeleňák rest area on the D2 motorway in the South Moravian Region. The works extend the existing paved areas and increase parking capacity for passenger cars, lorries and caravans on both sides of the rest area. Because the rest area is being lengthened, the existing additional lanes affected by the works must also be extended, in view of the future relocation of the petrol station. The contract was awarded on 2024-08-07 for EUR 14,141,989.40.
