SIM картите следва да се използват за пренос на данни, чрез USB устройства - таблети, смартфони и др. за ползване на услугата „мобилен интернет“. Предоставянето на далекосъобщителните услуги включва всички услуги по стандарт GSM/UMTS/LTE (съобщения чрез SMS и MMS, предаване на данни, достъп до мобилен интернет и др.).
