Summary

Machine-generated summary

The buyer, Wallonia Region (SPW VH Tournai), is procuring the design and supply of two metal cofferdams, each with a 14 metre span, to allow the locks of the Upper Scheldt at the Kain and Herinnes sites in Belgium to be drained for maintenance. Each cofferdam is 6 metres high and made of several elements joined by watertight seals, must comply with the Eurocodes, and limit joints and unit element weight given difficult site access for large lifting equipment. The scope covers on-site dimensional checks, full execution calculation notes including handling, workshop fabrication, and transport to a storage site at Kain, Herinnes or another SPW VH Tournai location. The contract also includes a good practice note covering storage, joint replacement, anticorrosion painting and lifting safety instructions.
