Belgium - Insurance brokerage services - appointment of insurance broker for an ABR policy

Aquafin, based in Belgium, is seeking to appoint an insurance brokerage firm to support the arrangement of an ABR (all building risks) policy. The policy should cover all construction partners on the same site in first rank, covering damage to the works, damage to existing property, and damage to third parties. The buyer intends to use a negotiated procedure to engage a broker on the best terms. The broker will then negotiate with insurance companies, together with Aquafin, to conclude the policy, and will also manage the signed policy, including claims handling. Brokers are asked to state their fee for both policy management and claims management.
