Description
Mobiliteit en Parkeren Antwerpen AG is verantwoordelijk voor het zoeken, beheren en uitrusten van buurtfietsenstallingen op het grondgebied Antwerpen. Buurtfietsenstallingen zijn inpandige of externe fietsenstallingen, bedoeld voor Antwerpenaren die zelf thuis geen plek hebben om hun tweewieler te plaatsen. Door goedkope en veilige fietsenstallingen aan te bieden, stimuleert de stad Antwerpen het fietsgebruik bij haar bewoners. Eens een nieuwe locatie geïdentificeerd wordt, is het de bedoeling om deze uit te rusten met de nodige fietsinfrastructuur om een zo maximaal mogelijk aantal fietsen op een ergonomische manier (8-88 jaar principe) te stallen.
