Het Agentschap Maritieme Toegang, Port of Antwerp-Bruges, en de Maatschappij Linkerscheldeoever (MLSO) plannen de bouw van een nieuw getijdendok, genaamd het Tweede Getijdendok, met als doel de containercapaciteit in de Antwerpse haven aanzienlijk te verhogen. Het tracé van onze bestaande drinkwaterleiding komt in conflict met de geplande locatie van dit nieuwe dok. Deze drinkwaterleiding voorziet de Kerncentrale van Doel van drinkwater. Voor het project Westelijke ontsluiting Waaslandhaven is er door agentschap Maritieme Toegang hiervoor een formeel verplaatsingsbevel uitgevaardigd.
