EcoWerf is procuring the chipping and removal of pruning wood from its recycling parks in the province of Flemish Brabant, Belgium. The parks are divided into 4 geographic zones: Tienen, Leuven, Werchter and Oost-Messelbroek, each with several parks. An estimated 3,400 tonnes per year of pruning wood applies to the first 4 lots and about 2,500 tonnes per year for lot 5. The chipped wood is transported to EcoWerf's own composting and digestion plant in Wilsele. On request, residual chipped material may need to be taken to recognised processors.
