Het voorwerp van de opdracht betreft een modelstudie voor het gebied Veurne Ambacht (deel van de Westkustpolder) in functie van verhoging van waterbeschikbaarheid en waterveiligheid binnen dit watersysteem. Aan de hand van verzamelde gegevens inzake het bestaande oppervlaktewaterregime zal een gebiedsdekkend oppervlaktewatermodel opgemaakt en gekalibreerd worden waarmee vervolgens beheerstrategieën in functie van gewenst grond- en oppervlaktewaterregime uitvoerig geananalyseerd en beschreven dienen te worden.
