Subsoil investigation for the replacement of Bridge 484 over the SKS

Wasserstrassen-Neubauamt Helmstedt awarded a contract for subsoil investigation for the replacement of Bridge 484 on the B1 crossing the Salzgitter canal. The works include 2 cased boreholes of at least 219 mm over 60 m, 6 small boreholes of at least 50 mm over 30 m, 8 cone penetration tests over 200 m, and 10 core drillings of 100 mm over 200 linear metres. The contract also covers checking borehole start points for ordnance and chemical laboratory testing.
