Banska Bela - expansion of the wastewater treatment plant

This contract covers the reconstruction of the existing wastewater treatment plant in Banska Bela and the construction of a new technological line, bringing total capacity to 1200 population equivalent (PE). The current capacity for 800 PE will be modernised and extended with a new line for 400 PE. The plant will operate as a mechanical-biological facility using low-load activated sludge with full aerobic sludge stabilisation. The scope includes mechanical pre-treatment with a longitudinal grit trap and self-cleaning rakes with an integrated press, biological treatment in mixing activation with a built-in separation tank and Dortmund tank, and sludge management in ASK and KJ tanks. The contractor must prepare execution design documentation. The contract is not divided into lots.
