Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (BBL) has commissioned the general renovation of the Monbijoustrasse 40 building in Bern, a listed post-war modernist complex with a head building and a wing building. The building will be vacant during the works, and future users will be the federal administration and the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (EHB). This call for tenders covers the sheet-metal roofing works (BKP 222) on the roof of the head building, planned as early works in the fourth quarter of 2026. The scope includes double standing-seam sheet metal coverings of the roof edge, plus facade cladding and roof covering of the roof plant unit, each including the substructure, as well as a share of general metal works for the load-bearing substructure of the privacy screen around the return-air cooler, finished identically to the roof plant facade cladding. Heritage protection requirements apply, agreed with the City of Bern heritage authority, particularly for the third floor of the wing building.
