Redress Scotland require a Service Provider that will provide a high quality, expert, cost effective, quick and easily accessible legal service which will enable Redress Scotland to deliver its functions in compliance with the law and in line with its statutory duties.The service provider must be able to provide advice in relation to the specialist decision making on redress applications, this being the core function of the public body.In the event that a determination of Panel Members is the subject of judicial review, the Service Provider will be required to engage Counsel to represent Redress Scotland and ensure they are knowledgeable and fully briefed on the relevant law.
