All Wales Framework for the Provision of Foster Care Services for Children and Young People

This notice concerns the establishment of a framework agreement for foster care services for children and young people. All 22 Welsh Local Authorities' Children's Services departments in Wales will use the framework to procure individual foster care placements for children who are looked after under statutory arrangements. The framework will support Local Authorities in securing suitable placements in line with assessed need and statutory responsibilities. The anticipated start date is 1 April 2027, though this may change as extension options exist under the current framework. The estimated value is approximately 65 million pounds per annum, indicative only and dependent on demand and placement needs across Local Authorities. No submission deadline is stated.
