The Wastewater Association Oberes Stanzertal is procuring carpentry works as part of the improvement of the Flirsch wastewater treatment plant. The works include the construction of two new rectangular secondary clarifier tanks, each with a volume of 1,210 m3 and a surface area of 900 m2, together 2,420 m3 and about 1,800 m2. Each tank will be about 33.60 m long, 8.50 m wide and 4.23 m deep in water depth, roofed over and adapted to the existing plant. Sludge removal will be via hoppers and wet-installed pumps, with floor sludge scrapers and lamella packs (2 units) and conversion of existing structures. A new coarse screen building measuring 7.50 x 7.50 x 4.0 m is also planned on the west side of the plant.
