Preparation of the reconstruction project and purchase of works for the 110/10 kV Lentvaris substation 110 kV switchgear reconstruction

The intended procurement covered the preparation of the technical design for reconstructing the 110 kV switchgear of the 110/10 kV Lentvaris substation, together with the subsequent purchase of the reconstruction works. The buyer is the Lithuanian electricity network operator named in the title of the notice. However, the notice mainly reports the outcome of the procedure: the supplier ranked first in the list of bids, AB 'Kauno tiltai', declined to extend the validity period of its offer. Applying Article 41(2)(5) of the Public Procurement Law, the contracting authority declared the procurement closed, because the validity period of AB 'Kauno tiltai' had expired and no contract was concluded for reasons attributable to that supplier.
