Beschreibung

BACKGROUND INFORMATION VTT is a visionary research, development, and innovation partner for companies and society and one of Europe’s leading research institutes. Its mission is to create a positive impact on life and the planet. VTT focuses not only on technological advancements but also on their practical application to benefit people and to build a better future for generations to come. The sharing market and other comparable information is essential for VTT to monitor and comprehend its operating environment. This procurement aims to meet the information needs of various stakeholders within VTT and to support the availability and effective utilisation of information in decision-making. The procured service is intended to support the development of VTT's own business operations and, where appropriate, to meet the information needs of VTT’s research areas. THE OBJECT OF THE PROCUREMENT The object of procurement includes a system platform (SaaS) for sharing market and competitive intelligence and its functionalities. The platform is specifically intended for sharing of market information. It must be capable of incorporating both VTT's own content and content produced by third parties (such as global industry news, market reports, and videos). The platform must also be compatible with the Microsoft 365 environment and Salesforce. See Annex 1.1 for more detailed list of technical requirements. The subject of the procurement is described in more detail in the tender documents, see in particular the Service Specification attached to the call for tenders as Annex 1. The service provider must take into account the aspects presented in this attachment when preparing the tender. The proposed SaaS platform and related services must fully comply to the descriptions in this document and its attachments, and meet all the specified requirements. VTT will select one supplier as contract partner. The fixed contract period is two (2) years, after which the agreement will continue as valid until further notice, under the termination terms described in the SaaS service agreement draft. The selection criteria is further described in the part "Other information" > "Grounds for decision". Please see also the Annex 2 "Quality comparison of tenders".
