Description

The Knoydart Foundation and Zora Ecosystems will collaborate with the NatureScot Peatland ACTION team and skilled contractors to undertake peatland restoration within an artificially drained and actively eroding peatland area across Knoydart Estate, totalling approximately c.270ha. This work will be the second phase of peatland restoration on Knoydart Estate and will be delivered in two Zones, spread over three years. Zone 7 will be delivered in autumn 2027, completing in spring 2028. Zone 8 will be delivered from autumn 2028 to spring 2029 and then again from autumn 2029 to spring 2030. Please see details in Statement of Requirements. Tenderers should be aware that this contract is dependent on funding being achieved. A date of 27th August 2026 has been entered into this posting as the contract award date. Please be advised that this is the date for notification of Preferred Contractor and not contract award.
