Le European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) a mis en place un accord-cadre pour du matériel informatique de type serveur et des services de support associés, d'une durée initiale de quatre ans, avec possibilité de prolongation de deux ans. Un premier achat (Initial Purchase) a été lancé en même temps que l'ITT. Le contrat pour ce premier achat a été attribué à Hewlett-Packard Italiana S.r.l. pour 1 080 751,86 EUR. L'attribution a eu lieu le 03.12.2025. Le contrat dure 48 mois et se termine le 03.12.2029, date à laquelle il revient sur le marché. L'accord-cadre devrait représenter environ 7 000 000 EUR sur la première période et environ 10 000 000 EUR sur six ans, sans garantie de volumes d'achats.

Description

This Invitation to Tender (ITT) was prepared by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, for the objective of setting up a framework contract with an estimated 5 to 10 suppliers, with the ultimate purpose of securing the best value for money in the provision of IT server equipment and related support services. The Framework is for an initial period of four (4) years, with the possibility to extend by a further two (2) years. ECMWF reserves the right to reopen the Framework at any point in the future. The spend against the Framework is likely to be in region of seven million euros (7,000,000) during the first period and in the region of ten million euros (10,000,000) over six years, although there is no guarantee as to the volume of purchases to be made. The top 8 Successful Tenderers were selected based on a range of technical, legal and logistical requirements to be accepted onto the Framework. Alongside this ITT the first Initial Purchase was be competed. The contract for the Initial Purchase was awarded to the Tenderer which passed the criteria for inclusion onto the Framework and quoted the lowest price(s) for the items in listed in Annex 2 (Initial Purchase) of Volume II (Specification of Requirements). The winning bid was selected to include the optional additional years of support (totaling 7) for both Lot 1A and Lot 1B.
