Advance notice: tender for telecommunications infrastructure service provider

Swissgrid plans to renew and modernise its nationwide telecommunications infrastructure at around 150 sites across Switzerland, replacing telecommunications cabinets and their contents (excluding network components). The buyer is Swissgrid, operator of the Swiss transmission grid. A selective tender will be published in the second half of 2026. The scope covers nationwide project services for the renewal and for later conversion and expansion projects (e.g. installing several hundred cabinets), operational services (service desk, maintenance, logistics) and nationwide field support with short on-site response times. Swissgrid seeks a competent, regionally anchored infrastructure supplier with proven experience in critical infrastructure.
