Het doel van de aanbesteding is om voor de planvorming en de uitvoering van verkeersmaatregelen een raamovereenkomst af te sluiten met één opdrachtnemer, waardoor er geen separate aanbestedingen per project plaatsvinden. Voor een succesvolle uitvoering van de werkzaamheden is het van belang dat contact en afstemming met de opdrachtnemer eenvoudig en efficiënt verloopt. De werkzaamheden bestaan in hoofdzaak uit: • Het voorbereiden van verkeersmaatregelen; • Het inzetten van medewerkers en materieel ten behoeve van tijdelijke verkeersmaatregelen; • Het uitvoeren van overige bijkomende werkzaamheden; De werkzaamheden worden onder meer uitgevoerd tijdens uitvoering van werkzaamheden, evenementen en calamiteiten. De gemeente Vlaardingen behoudt zich te allen tijde het recht voor om verkeersafzettingen, -maatregelen en -omleidingen in eigen beheer toe te passen.
