EM har ett regeringsuppdrag att utveckla internationella klimatsamarbeten enligt Parisavtalets artikel 6. Inom ramen för detta uppdrag har STEM tecknat ett Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) med Republiken Ghana enligt vilket STEM och Ghana ska arbeta för att utveckla projekt som ska reducera klimatpåverkan. Detta manifesteras genomutsläppsminskningsenheter (Internationally Transferable Mitigation Outcomes (ITMOs)) vilka STEM skall förvärva. Denna upphandling avser upphandling av 1-3 st aktör/-er som skall genomföra projekt som skapar ITMOs vilka STEM (köpare) ska förvärva från aktuell aktör (säljare). Vilkoren för förvären regleras mellan köparen och säljaren i ett avtal - Mitigation Outcomes Purchase Agreement (MOPA). 1. Mitigation Activity Proposal - MAP 2. Company risk assessment checklist and any relevant attachments 3. Experience of carbon market mechanisms 4. Experience of the relevant Mitigation Activity type 5. Professional capacity; 1.
