Botkyrka kommun vill kunna erbjuda kommunens medarbetare presentkort med ett varierat och stort utbud som ska kunna ges exempelvis som minnesgåvor och i samband med jul. Med presentkort avses ett värdebevis som har ett på förhand bestämt penningvärde och som kan användas som betalningsmedel för köp av produkt eller upplevelse i angiven butik, butikskedja, restaurang eller andra liknande inköpsställen. Exempel på andra liknande inköpsställen är nöjesparker, teatrar, hotell och andra företag som erbjuder olika typer av upplevelser. I begreppet butik innefattas även sådana butiker som endast säljer produkter och upplevelser på internet, så kallade nätbutiker. Med presentkort avses inte gåvokort.
