Description

Leverantören ska tillhandahålla planerade och akuta öppenvårdsinsatser inom specialiserad vuxenpsykiatri enligt angivna krav för vuxna, definierat som 18 år och däröver. I förhållande till barn- och ungdomspsykiatrin (BUP) ska Leverantören dock tillämpa en flexibel åldersgräns med utgångspunkt från individens vårdbehov. Detta innebär att patienter som har pågående kontakt på BUP ska fullfölja sin behandling på BUP efter fyllda 18 år enligt vårdplan, om Leverantören av BUP och patienten tillsammans bedömer det lämpligt med hänsyn till behandlingens karaktär och framtida behov av psykiatrisk vård. På motsvarande sätt ska Leverantören, om det är lämpligt med hänsyn till behandlingens karaktär och efter överenskommelse med BUP, ge vård till ungdomar som insjuknar i svår psykisk sjukdom av vuxenkaraktär före 18 års ålder. Huvuddelen av den vuxenpsykiatriska specialiserade öppenvården drivs i regionens egen regi. Sedan 2011 har delar av den öppna specialistvården inom vuxenpsykiatri bedrivits av privata leverantörer; inledningsvis med upphandlade avtal, från 2016 med avtal inom vårdval och sedan 2021 upphandlade avtal.
