The contract covers increasing UV dosing capacity at the Ostra and Vastra Norsborg drinking water treatment plants from 250 J/m2 to 400 J/m2 at design flow, ensuring the required UV dose in a total of 6 units, of which 3 units are an option, either by relocating existing units or by replacing them with new ones. The scope also includes an option for service and spare parts. Works include new control cabinets, replacement of electrical and control cabling between units and cabinets, adaptation of the pipe system (DN 1000) and pipe supports, test running and commissioning, and dismantling of existing UV equipment. An initial period of coordinated detailed design and implementation planning with the client is included. Existing facilities must remain in operation during the works.
