The City of Gothenburg is procuring waste collection services involving emptying by crane of collection containers for bulky paper and plastic packaging, as well as waste paper, at recycling stations in Gothenburg, Sweden. The contract also covers placement, removal and relocation of containers, storage, maintenance and repair of containers, replacement of damaged containers, installation and maintenance of level sensors, and transport of waste to a transfer station. Only stations on the mainland are included. About 100 recycling stations will be removed during the first contract year, and their removal is included in the contract.
