Supply of reverse osmosis membranes for the Port de la Selva drinking water treatment plant

The contract covers the supply of five reverse osmosis membranes, of the LG Chem brand, model LG BW 400 ES L, or an equivalent, for the existing Osmofilter model OI3580 unit at the Port de la Selva drinking water treatment plant. The membranes must meet defined specifications, including an active membrane area of 37 m2, a permeate flow of 37.9 m3/day, a stabilised salt rejection of 99.6 percent, a maximum operating pressure of 41.3 bar, a maximum operating temperature of 45 degrees C, continuous operation at pH 2 to 11, maximum tolerated chlorine below 0.1 ppm, maximum feed water turbidity of 1.0 NTU, a maximum feed flow of 17 m3/h, dimensions of 1,016 mm length with 200 mm outer and 28.6 mm inner diameter, and a wet weight of approximately 16 kg.
