Fusion for Energy (F4E) is procuring a Helium Refrigeration System (HRS) for the Isotope Separation System (ISS) within the Tritium Plant at ITER, Spain. The scope covers design, manufacturing, assembly, factory acceptance testing, transport and delivery of a system based on Reversed Turbo-Brayton technology, supplying approximately 1500 W of cooling net power at 18.5 K. Three options may be included: factory performance testing, technical assistance for on-site installation and final connection activities, and technical assistance for commissioning and site acceptance testing. F4E may remove certain options from the scope before the final call for tender.
