Die Flughafen Zürich AG (FZAG) beabsichtigt, die Gesamtleistung zur Planung und Erstellung der neuen Jet-Basis der Schweizerischen Rettungsflugwacht Rega in der Zone West am Flughafen Zürich öffentlich zu beschaffen und durch den geeignetsten Anbieter ab Phase 31 planen und anschliessend ausführen zu lassen. Während der heutige Hauptsitz der Rega mit Helikopter-Instandhaltungsbetrieb und nationaler Luftrettungszentrale bis Ende 2030 nach Kägiswil verlegt wird, soll die gesamte Ambulanzjet-Operation als eigenständiger Bereich am Flughafen Zürich verbleiben. Diese Infrastruktur wird die FZAG als Bauherrin nach den betrieblichen Anforderungen der Rega planen und errichten. Die Rega wird die neue Jet-Basis als Mieterin nutzen. Die Jet-Basis umfasst im Teilprojekt Hochbau im Wesentlichen einen Hangar mit Platz für drei Ambulanzjets, die dazugehörigen Büroräumlichkeiten sowie die Erschliessung (alle landseitig) mit einer geschätzten Geschossfläche von insgesamt ca. 6'600 m². Im Rahmen der Gesamtleister-Submission ist ein Projektvorschlag sowie das verbindliche Angebot dazu gemäss den Anforderungen der FZAG und der Rega zu erstellen. Die Zusammenstellung des Teams ist dabei dem Anbieter überlassen.
